With over 20 years of experience, he specialises in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams on transport and development planning projects, advising public and private sector clients across residential, commercial, retail, leisure, and logistics sectors.
Since joining Steer in 2014, Martin has built wide-ranging expertise in development planning, Environmental Impact Assessments, multi-modal transport strategies, and scheme appraisals. He has also worked as a Transport Officer, reviewing major planning applications on behalf of London Boroughs.
Martin has successfully secured planning consents for projects of all scales, including major referable applications in London. He is skilled at delivering transport solutions for complex and constrained sites. Key projects include residential-led schemes at Streatham Vale Homebase (Lambeth) and Blenheim Shopping Centre (Penge), redevelopment of West One Shopping Centre (Westminster), and work across the Canary Wharf Estate, among others.
His clients have included Canary Wharf Group, Barratt London, British Land, Transport for London, and several London Boroughs.
