Raffael has 25 years of experience in corporate finance. His expertise includes business planning, business valuations, infrastructure advisory, project financing, M&A deals, and privatizations. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive industry experience in the energy and renewable energy sectors, as well as in the aviation and transportation services sectors.
He is also an expert in transportation regulation, assisting clients in analyzing regulatory aspects of their businesses, developing business plans that comply with applicable regulations, and providing financial and economic advisory services in their interactions with regulatory authorities.
Raffael joined Steer from Deloitte Financial Advisory, where he was Director of the Valuation and Business Modeling team. During his time there, he also worked in the M&A team, supporting clients in both buy-side and sell-side mandates.
At Steer, Raffael collaborates with our global Financial Advisory team to identify and pursue market opportunities and work on international and cross-border projects.
COVID-19 has probably emphasised the difficulties of the mobility sector in Italy and has modified the market and habits, highlighting the limits in the current public transport system and threatening the going concern of market operators. New rules for public transport, particularly social distancing, have impacted public mobility demand, leading people to reconsider the use of cars.
