Trent is a transportation planner and business leader with more than 30 years of experience helping cities, venues, and organizations deliver innovative multimodal mobility systems. At Steer, he leads the Sports & Major Events practice in North America, focused on developing integrated mobility strategies that connect people to major events, cultural institutions, and sporting venues.

His work spans urban transportation networks, sports arenas, cultural institutions, and large-scale mixed-use developments. He brings deep expertise in transportation planning, user experiences, and multimodal programs that ensure workers, residents, fans, and visitors can move safely and seamlessly across cities and to major venues.

He has advised public agencies, private developers, and major sports organizations on citywide strategies, arena developments, and sustainable mobility solutions. His portfolio includes projects that balance technical precision with fan-focused outcomes, ensuring transportation systems enhance both city life and the experience of major events.

Trent is passionate about shaping how mobility connects communities, enhances cultural and sporting experiences, and supports the vitality of urban life. Beyond his professional role, he serves on nonprofit boards and professional committees, including the Regional Plan Association and UCLA’s ITS Advisory Board, and teaches at Pratt Institute, underscoring his commitment to advancing the field of transportation planning and strengthening civic life.
